A very special engine for sale.

Yes - for those of you "in the know" - this is one of the surviving Jaguar quad-cam "XJ13" prototype engines. 6 engines were assembled by Jaguar and only 3 of these were installed in cars. This engine is one of only two survivors of the three engines which never made it to a car but only ran on Jaguar's test-beds.

Here at Building The Legend we really know these engines and are capable of returning them to their running state in 1965/66 - at the start of Jaguar's XJ13 project when dreams of the engine returning them to Le Mans were still very much alive.
